11th Hour Launceston
11th Hour Launceston (an event held in Yolanda Jeans Cafe) seeks to share the gospel and open dialogue with unchurched Launcestonians. Organisers hope to “form relationships and answer questions, share the gospel and show Christ in our manner and generosity,” says Georgie Armstrong, who applied for a Grand Plans grant on behalf of team members Jono and Vickie Deenick, Bert Kuipers, Josh Armstrong, Julian and Mel Dykman and Simon Petrusma.
11th Hour Launceston evenings end up costing about $100 - $200 per event. The group plans to keep working on the events regardless of funding, but access to extra funds would assist with scheduling speakers by enabling them to contribute to costs (eg. transport). It would also enable them to pay for food and drinks for guests, and finance the printing of flyers and tracts.
Please pray that the group will spend the $1,000 Vision 100 grant well and that God will enable them to realise their goals for his glory.
