The MTS Shopfront 2012 will be held at Ross Bakery Stables.

Cost is $30 including lunch and snacks - payable on the day or by direct deposit prior (email secretary for account details).

MTS Shopfront Day provides a great way to kick off a new year of ministry and ministry training. We urge you to come along and hope it will give you both big picture ideas and concrete advice for recruiting and training people in ministry.

This event is an accessible way to check out the MTS network and is open to trainers, pastors, elders, apprentices, potential apprentices and any other keen church members.

The Preachers' Workshop 2012

The Preachers’ Workshop is a year-long training course for first-time or very new preachers. It will have a highly practical focus. The first session will provide some basic training in how to write a sermon. The remaining sessions will consist of participants giving sermons and feedback on sermons. It will be open to both men and women and will be free of charge. It is non-denominational and
open to anyone who would like to learn and practice the basics of biblical preaching.

The only condition is that participants commit to attend as many sessions throughout the year as possible, and work hard when it is there turn to do so.

The Preachers' Workshop will be held at the Christian Reformed Church of Kingston, 17 Denison St, Kingston. It will run from 1.30-3.00pm on the first Sunday of every month, beginning 4th March 2012 and finishing 4th November 2012.

Leaders Conference 2012

All within the Vision 100 network and others who are in support of the work of Vision 100 and church planting in Tasmania are welcome to attend.

We had a fantastic turn out this year at the 2011 conference with almost 70 in attendance, and pray for the same wonderful support, fellowship and learning together next year.

 

50 Plus Bible Convention

The 50 Plus Bible Convention will be held in Poatina from 29th Sep - 1st Oct (commencing at 1pm on Thursday and concluding after lunch on Saturday).

David Jones will be speaking at this event.

Vision 100 Southern Prayer Night

The southern prayer day will take place at the Kingston Christian Reformed Church building. In response to feedback from last year we have moved this evening to the first half of the year, to avoid clashes with other events. We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the news through your congregation, staff, leaders and other networks so that this can be a terrific time of united prayer for the gospel in Tasmania.

Southern Pastors and Church Staff Prayer Meeting

Last year we began holding bimonthly prayer meetings with southern pastors and church staff. The first meeting for 2011 will be held at the Crossroads/Cornerstone/Mt Suart Office in Bathurst St, Hobart.We would love to join with local pastors and staff then for the vital work of prayer.
