Church Planting Round-Table

Vision 100 and City to City are excited to invite you to an important gathering focused on the future of church planting in Tasmania: a Church Planting Round Table.

We believe your voice is crucial in shaping this initiative, and we really hope you’ll be able to join us.

This round-table discussion will bring together ministry leaders (church planters, pastoral staff, denominational leaders, and other ministry leaders) like yourself to discuss the needs, challenges, and opportunities for strengthening existing churches and planting new churches in Tasmania, to the glory of Jesus. As a point of focus, Vision 100 and City to City intend to partner together to run a future event focused on church-planting (working title, "Multiply") and we especially desire to shape that event (and whether it’s even what we need!) to serve the needs and plans of our local plants, churches, and ministries. We need your input!

Purpose: to hear from one another about the current and emerging needs, challenges, and opportunities for church planting and outreach in Tasmania; and to draft the plan for new church-planting-focused event that will serve the purposes of strengthening existing churches and starting new churches.

The current state-of-play of church planting in Tasmania, with initial framing comments from Vision 100, City to City, and several local church planters. Chaired all-in discussion follows.

Big picture of expectations and needs for church planting (with an eye to how a conference/event like “Multiply” may meet those needs). Chaired all-in discussion.

Shaping Multiply to serve Christ’s kingdom through church planting. Chaired all-in discussion.

We will also spend time praying for the growth of the gospel in Tasmania.
